This role reports to the Group Financial Controller and has responsibility for performing all aspects of management accounting for On Demand Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG (ODD - a newly acquired company), including the Accounts Payable, Monthly Management Accounts preparation and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
The role is pivotal in providing accurate and timely reporting for ODD to ensure the operations of this entity run smoothly once this has been absorbed by Vubiquity Management Limited (VML).
Primary Activities and KPIs
- Key deliverables are the timely production of accurate and clearly presented month-end management information, monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations, P&L schedules, and other ad hoc reporting.
- A key measure will be for reporting deadlines to be consistently met, and for constant improvements to be me made to systems and processes wherever any can be identified.
The Data Analyst will work with the company’s business stakeholders to understand, develop and document the organisation’s requirements of its own data and that provided by and to its clients and suppliers.
The Data Analyst will be responsible for data analysis, data retrieval, and management reporting at Vubiquity against Vubiquity’s various data sources. The role includes analysis of data requirements, reporting and business intelligence requirements, and the development of any web-based interfaces and reporting frameworks to present the data reports to both internal and external clients.
The BA is responsible for addressing business needs and determining solutions to business problems and/or opportunities that rely on proprietary or vendor-driven software applications, while ensuring alignment with Vubiquity’s strategic objectives. By leveraging existing knowledge of the business, including intimate knowledge of business systems/platforms/applications/tools and enterprise-wide processes, the BA will effectively capture and communicate requirements for internally driven efforts, contributing to the definition of Product Release schedules. Within Product Releases, the BA is responsible for representing the collective input of all stakeholders. For efforts driven by the VU Product team, BA shall lend expertise to what Product has captured, and ultimately sign off on said Stories. BA shall also be responsible for scoping and illustrating end-to-end workflows and/or operational processes as relates to a given project. BA shall work in close conjunction with Project Managers, Program Managers, Product, Sales, Enterprise Architecture, and NETO.
The Graphics Coordinator will be responsible for the overall coordination of poster art for movie and TV content - including sourcing, producing, QC, and building relationships with content providers.
Reporting into the Graphics Manager, the Graphics Coordinator handles the production and delivery of Vubiquity image files according to schedules with daily deadlines. This includes:
- producing poster art and episodic imagery
- maintaining the company database of artwork files
- managing affiliate artwork requests and inquiries
- liaising with studios and providers
We are looking for an individual with a basic understanding of 2D image editing, who is willing to gain experience in the media industry. This position will play a key role in delivering artwork in large volumes within a fast-paced environment.
On behalf of Vubiquity you will be responsible for the coordination and processing of video on demand content, schedules, metadata and images for publishing to the TV, online and mobile platforms of our English speaking clients.
Purpose of the Job
The Coordinator's main responsibility is to support the Client Services teams with the management of assets through the digital workflow from licensor through to platform/multi-platform delivery.

The coordinator’s main responsibility is to manage the processing of film, TV and music video assets through the digital workflow from scheduling to platform/multi-platform delivery.
The Media Services Coordinator acts as an asset hub for all scheduled content. The Media Services Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all assets are ordered and received on time, inventoried and accounted for within internal content management systems, staged for encoding for monthly processing and archived properly. The Media Services Coordinators are the media liaisons for the monitoring, reporting and troubleshooting, of all media throughout the different Vubiquity workflows.
In this dynamic role, the Vice President, Content Services will structure deals and forge strong alliances with our Content Provider partners/customers, provide strategic insights and guidance, and identify and develop growth opportunities. The Content Services team is one of the largest, fastest-growing groups within Vubiquity. Your ability to build excellent relationships, while applying analytical expertise and a superior understanding of the entertainment ecosystem and digital media technology landscape, will be critical to your success in the position.
This position is an integral part of our content strategy team, responsible for developing and leading our content strategy within South Africa and across the region (the “Market”). The Head of Content, Africa will be an expert on locally produced content in the Market, having a strong network of relationships with all local suppliers as well as with all of the major international distributors in the Market, including both the studios and independents.
You will have a solid understanding of the content delivery landscape, including linear channels, Pay TV, Satellite, OTT and other streaming platforms. In addition, a solid understanding of the video-on-demand ecosystem is also required (TVOD, SVOD, EST, AVOD, etc.).
We are looking for an experienced content connoisseur – with at least 5-6 years‘ experience in a content acquisition and/or programming role, preferably across multiple African markets. Prior experience working in the Market is preferable, in particular dealing with South Africa and Nigeria.
The Promotions Producer will be primarily responsible for creating and producing on-air promotions and additional on-air material across multiple territories, delivering to a range of global clients. The Producer will additionally manage client accounts creatively, offering creative ideas and expertise within the Creative Services Department.
The Systems Engineer is responsible for fulfilling the DevOps function at Vubiquity and also for the monitoring of the day-to-day technical support operations for services provided for the Linux systems. The aim of the role is to ensure the highest levels of service and systems uptime for all platforms managed by Vubiquity, achieved through a proactive approach to systems maintenance and workflow pipelines and a positive reactive response to issues as and when they may arise.
The New Media & Technology Consultant is responsible for the supporting the needs of the International Sales, Business Development, Corporate Development & Programming teams along with promoting and owning the technical relationships between Vubiquity's content and technology partners. This position requires up to 80% travel, and reports directly to the Head of New Media & Technology Consultant.
As part of a small and busy Commercial Operations Team, the Pitch / Proposal Executive will co-ordinate and produce the proposal (RFI, ITT, RFP etc.) response as part of a Bid Team. Responsibilities include the implementation of all necessary proposal procedures and processes to deliver customer facing presentations / proposals. This is a highly networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines.
