  • Overview

    This is a highly networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines. It will require strong people management and commercial skills.

    The Bid Manager will assertively manage the stages and approvals that form the steps of the Vubiquity international sales process from qualification through to operational and project management hand off.

    The success of the role is pivotal to delivering rigorous opportunity management, forecasting and pipeline visibility that drives resource and investment decisions across the business.

    The bid manager will be expected to manage deadlines for deliverables and submissions associated with bid delivery. This impacts relationships across multiple Vubiquity functions including third party suppliers.

    The role is based in London, working closely with the sales and commercial team, and will have responsibility across all International territories (everything outside of North America).

    The nature of the bids being managed will vary from standardised, clearly defined, propositions into new and existing customers through to complex new business RFPs. The expectation is that the same level of intensity and rigour will be applied to the governance and execution of all bids.


      • Personally responsible for building bid/proposal components and guiding qualified proposals through Vubiquity sales process approval stages
      • Specifically own the generation of timely and competitive pricing inputs to Vubiquity bids/proposals
      • Actively participate in Vubiquity planning, qualification and forecasting activities to drive accurate reporting and high impact decision making to support team sales success
      • Professionally co-ordinate Vubiquity resources, centrally and in region, to deliver against critical sales campaign stages from qualification to operational hand off
      • Identify and expedite any and all improvement opportunities in the bid management process and the proposals being delivered by Vubiquity
      • Set and manage expectations of timelines for bid contributors and decision makers (Such as Sales, Operations, Legal, Content and Finance)
      • Maintain a close working relationship with FP&A function to support the development of pricing models
      • Arrange and manage all post bid reviews with customers, post contract award


    • The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate consistently high impact in an international Bid Management role in a target driven, direct field sales, outsourced technology business, preferably media technology or content services.

    • The company will look for evidence of capability in delivering winning, multi-million dollar complex services opportunities and experience of bid campaign management from opportunity qualification through to hand off to project delivery teams, and will provide valuable input into opportunity decision making, win strategies, commercial discussions and solution design.
