    In this dynamic role, the Vice President, Content Services will structure deals and forge strong alliances with our Content Provider partners/customers, provide strategic insights and guidance, and identify and develop growth opportunities.  The Content Services team is one of the largest, fastest-growing groups within Vubiquity. Your ability to build excellent relationships, while applying analytical expertise and a superior understanding of the entertainment ecosystem and digital media technology landscape, will be critical to your success in the position.

    Responsibilities

    Client Management and Relationship Maximization - Manage relationships with broadcast/cable networks, VOD networks, and other content owners, including:

    • Provide oversight and day-to-day management of overall client relationship and expectations
    • Grow account revenue, expand relationship into additional services, increase stickiness and maintain/extend relationships
    • Become a valued resource/advisor to the clients by providing learnings, insights, and advice
    • Act as liaison between client and Vubiquity internal groups, coordinate internal groups to ensure service delivery, fulfillment of contract commitments, and satisfaction of client needs
    • Identify/support clients’ development of new VOD revenue opportunities and their overall digital media business
    • Understand overlap and gaps between Vubiquity capabilities and product/technology roadmap and clients’ evolving plans/needs to ensure Vubiquity continues to provide key client solutions
    • Become internal client expert/advocate by knowing everything about client's digital media plans
    • Product Management (Hybrids) - In addition to the above, manage/coordinate distribution efforts, and optimize overall P&L for Vubiquity and client, including supporting the client's offerings with affiliates and working with Vubiquity Marketing and Sales departments
    • New Products/Services - Collect/Assimilate customer feedback and anticipated customer needs, understand customer workflows and technology/operations requirements, Convert into ideas/input into new products/services/solutions that can generate revenue, enhance customer satisfaction, or fulfill strategic objectives (e.g., stickiness); Contribute to Product Development process
    • Strategy and Market Intelligence -  Keep abreast of current trends in multichannel video and digital media and evolving customer needs in order to be digital media "expert" that clients rely on and help Vubiquity stay ahead of customer needs and changing industry dynamics
    • Prospecting/Sales Development - Identify potential new customers, develop/structure relationships, shepherd client through deal process and launch
    • Industry Visibility / Cross-Industry Group Participation - Active involvement in Advanced Cable Solutions Consortium, Advertising committees, others

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Wide variety of tasks/processes necessary in support of above job functions; flexibility and adaptability in this rapidly changing marketplace are key!

    Qualifications

    • Strong relationship-building/client management skills;
    • MBA or similarly analytical business background, ability to provide analytical support and understand client's business
    • Strategic thinker - ability to develop opportunities which meet client needs and the strategic needs of Vubiquity
    • Excellent communication/presentation/sales skills - ability to provide nuanced, consistent messaging
    • Attention to detail and follow-up
    • Experience with contracts and structuring complex deals in new media arena a plus
    • Ability to adapt and develop solutions across changing landscape of distribution opportunities and evolving business models
    • Comfort with new media technologies; ability to understand rapidly changing digital media technology landscape and implications, including impact on workflows, customer strategy, and revenue opportunities/threats
    • Ability to multitask and effectively manage multiple large and small accounts with different sets of needs
    • Affiliate sales or similar background a plus, understanding of operator strategy and economics
    • Experience with Multiplatform/Digital Media and Advertising-driven business models a plus
    • Ability to be effective internal/external advocate for multiple products/networks
    • Approximately 25% travel
