  • Overview

    Film and television distributor Juice Worldwide is seeking a Vice President of Operations and Technology to join our growing team.   This role will focus on the design, development, implementation and maintenance of new applications, advanced media and tools to support the company’s overall operations.


    Externally, the solutions crafted will assist and enable Content Providers, Broadcasters, and OTT Platforms with the onboarding and output of large content volumes (film and television). Internal focus will be to further automate existing workflows and facilitate scaling through tools and technology.


    Candidate will be expected to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of digital video / advanced media and the OTT / MVPD landscape, as well the product development lifecycle, from idea conception to market deployment. Day to day responsibility includes subject matter guidance to organization as required, and management of Juice’s operations and development departments.


    • Own overall operational strategy, including product development across lifecycle, analyzes and determines integration needs with resources available from parent organization
    • Defines standards and best-practices for operations and development teams with the objective of boosting performance, efficiency and capacity
    • Platform architecture, design, development and implementation of applications
    • Champion metrics tracking, performance analysis, ensuring teams meet project requirements on time, and on budget
    • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members
    • Lead technical discussions; collaborate with team members to identify the most effective solutions to technical problems. Analyze and resolve technical and application problems. Present and defends architectural, design, and technical choices to internal audiences.
    • Establishes and maintains productive relationships with peer organizations and equipment and software vendors.
    • Ensure effective implementation of the organizations budget, preparing financial statements and quarterly forecasts informing new technology recommendations
    • Identifies trends, services and or capabilities that may be beneficial to product offerings. Manages and forecasts resource needs to meet organization objectives.



    • Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science
    • Generally requires 7 – 10+ years related experience
    • Strong business and technical vision
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Candidate is currently a senior product manager, product development engineer, software engineer, or related field
    • Has worked for a leading digital platform’s technology division
    • Experienced researching, developing and deploying distribution / automation architectures
    • Experience working with and leading cross-functional teams (engineers, operations, support, IT, product development)
