  • Overview

    • Reporting to the Service Manager, the Supervisor’s main responsibility is to help manage the regional DCM team and oversee all activities. Furthermore, the Supervisor provides a core line of communication for all clients, and therefore demands a high level of customer service and client focus, delivering against specific agreements relating to the processing, publishing, timely delivery and ingest of content and its associated information.




    • Line management of Coordinators and Junior Coordinators in the team, facilitate continuous training and conduct training for new starters, ensuring operating manuals are relevant and updated
    • Act as a point of escalation to remedy faults/issues where appropriate, including reacting to incidents when and as they occur through to resolution
    • Have a clear overview and be responsible for the planning management of team’s workload and identify gaps in resources
    • Attend regular clients calls and meetings where appropriate
    • Chair weekly internal team meetings
    • Proactively manage content, metadata, image and related asset files through Vubiquity’s content processing workflow, update work orders for different platform schedules, monitor and manage assets throughout the system and adhere to deadlines.
    • To provide and update weekly or monthly internal and external SLA’s
    • Liaise with internal Programming, Media Services, Media Operations and Editorial teams on scheduling, trafficking, delivery and processing of media and metadata files.
    • Prepare publishing reports to share with affiliates
    • Carry out QA checks on the affiliate’s platform via a set-top box, web platform or app to ensure content appears correctly in assigned UI locations and folders
    • Liaise with Marketing and Production teams regarding monthly promos and editorial folder changes
    • Liaise with Compliance regarding monthly priorities for TVOD trailers
    • Provide cover for the Service Manager when out of office.
    • System testing as and when required.


    Knowledge, Skills and Experience

    • At least two years’ experience in a digital supply chain or content operations role within VOD, IPTV, OTT or web services
    • Excellent working knowledge of the digital video workflow including CMS and workflow management tools
    • Proven track record of team leadership or supervision
    • Ability to demonstrate clear and concise communication skills with colleagues and customers, in order to provide a high standard of relevant and timely information relating to work carried out
    • Highly organised to deal with and prioritise workload, and can demonstrate effective planning
    • Ability to assess, maintain and develop own performance and aid the team performance objectively, against agreed productivity and quality targets
    • Ability to document solutions and incident remedy procedures into operations group
    • Naturally focused on deadlines, with a track record of on time delivery without compromising quality
    • Willing and able to trouble shoot complex problems
    • High standard of literacy
    • Very high attention to detail
    • Ability to make clear decisions and communicate and document decisions made clearly
    • Ability to work on own initiative and proactively solve and prevent problems from occurring
