    Purpose of Role

    The Content Promotions Co-ordinator, based in the London office, is primarily dedicated to supporting the Marketing & Creative department in sourcing marketing materials for customer campaigns. 

    This is a pivotal role within the CP team, and the position requires building and maintaining excellent studio / supplier relationships, sourcing materials through supplier portals and ensuring all promotional assets are readily available for customer campaigns and internally for the production of video promos.

    The Content Promotions Co-ordinator is full of energy, displays a can-do attitude at all times, is passionate about content and music and able to manage multiple projects and delivering to deadlines.

     

     

    Role and Responsibilities

    • Responsible for sourcing relevant marketing materials from a variety of supplier sources (including portals and direct from suppliers)
    • Support the Marketing Managers with the development of internal newsletters
    • Will be the go-to person for all music marketing support for Africa including the sourcing of materials and seeking label approvals for customer campaigns
    • Will work closely with the Production team to ensure they have all regionally relevant video materials and title guidelines for use
    • Support Marketing Manager’s in region with all their material requests and delivery to the Marketing Portal
    • Work closely with the Programming & Editorial team to develop themes and collections and to ensure content is primary focus
    • Ensure regular editorial audits are conducted across customer social and online channels and create monthly highlights presentation
    • Commission image / video preparation with internal teams and oversee metadata and creative materials packages for delivery to designated service partners in order to support their regular weekly/monthly communication channels
    • Facilitate studio approvals for any creative materials prepared by the designated service partners or their creative agencies

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience

    • Ideally a minimum of 1 year working within a digital media content environment
    • Marketing qualification preferable with a good understanding of digital marketing
    • Experience of working with film content and assets
    • Experience of working to deadlines, often with a tight turnaround period
    • Knowledge of content management systems is an advantage
    • Experience in a client facing role liaising with customers
    • High degree of computer literacy including MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), with an aptitude for learning new technology and software
    • The ability to react quickly and constructively to issues & changes
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • High standard of literacy in English and second language preferred
    • Effective time management, multi-tasking and forward planning skills
    • An innate hunger to achieve results
