  • Overview

    The International Programming Coordinator will work within the Content Planning department to aid the Head of Music in viewing and complying, eligible music content and entering the required metadata into internal content management systems for delivery across a range of International Music Services.

     

    The International Programming Coordinator may also be required to support the wider activities of the programming group in terms of contributing to schedules for TV and Movie content.

     

    The role will focus managing music deliveries for clients in the UK, South Africa and any other launching affiliates as required. 

    Responsibilities

    • Screening and Selection of Music Videos relevant to the International service(s) assigned
    • Input of metadata and content synopses for new music videos, artist, song title, sort title, genre, year of release etc into Vubiquity systems
    • Developing & maintaining accurate music schedules/databases for each service
    • Liaising with Operations teams to ensure timely output of required content updates
    • Assist in the programming of a range of International Music services to an agreed brief
    • Assisting the Music team in developing service promotions opportunities
    • Ad hoc tasks as requested by the Head of Music
    • Assisting the wider Programing group (including TV and Movies) as may be required

    Qualifications

    EXPERIENCE

    • Passion for a wide variety and genre of music types is essential! 
    • Would suit graduate or keen candidate with Music industry experience or training meeting the skills required looking to gain first experience in the digital new media industry.

    SKILLS REQUIRED

    • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
    • Must be competent in Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Word & Powerpoint
    • Keen attention to detail especially to spelling/grammar
    • Music Industry background or training
    • Excellent knowledge of music, TV and movies of all genres
    • Cultural sensitivity
