  • Overview

    To ensure the timely preparation and delivery of content and associated assets to designated services within the Service Delivery team.


    To quality assure content through means of tools and visual inspection, and deliver said content by electronic and physical means to Vubiquity customer’s platforms. 


    An understanding of Muslim/Arabic culture would be ideal.


    • Oversee the publishing of content, metadata, image and related asset files to clients in a timely manner in line with deadlines set and restrictions laid down by customer platforms
    • Monitoring of asset progress through various stages, ensuring all stages are completed on time
    • Liaison with clients and suppliers as required to follow up on deliveries and updates
    • Creation of images and input of metadata into the Content Management System where applicable and updating workflow tools as required
    • To remedy faults/issues where appropriate, including reacting to incidents when and as they occur through to resolution
    • To provide cover for other team members
    • Carry out ad hoc tasks as requested by Service Supervisor or Manager
    • Need to QC content and ingest it directly to the client platform 


    • Experience of working within a VOD or broadcast environment
    • Experience in a client facing role liaising with remote customers on the status and resolution of issues, with a proven experience of problem ownership, and conclusion, and consistent reporting of same.
    • Experience of working to deadlines, often with a tight turnaround period
    • Knowledge of content management systems
    • Degree level education
    • Experience with common office applications (such as MS Word, MS Excel) and use of line of business operational applications
    • High degree of computer literacy, with an aptitude for learning new technology and software.
    • The ability to react quickly and constructively in order to troubleshoot problems.
    • Some understanding of digital media technologies (preferably VOD) including, encoding standards and tools, automated quality control tools
    • Effective time management and multi-tasking skills.
