Overview

Applicants must be fluent in Russian and English.

Responsible for the end to end workflow of all metadata and video content delivered to the platform of an Vubiquity client.  The primary activities will be the preparation, QC and delivery of content alongside managing the overall process of video content preparation using Vubiquity’s Content Processing Centre.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring of platform schedules and prioritising work based on the deadlines they contain.
  • Translate, edit and input of all metadata into the Vubiquity's Content Management System
  • Publishing of quality assured metadata to a customer’s platform in a timely manner in line with deadlines set down by the platform schedule and restrictions imposed by the customer’s platform.
  • To quality assure all metadata published across customer platforms
  • To monitor the status of media and metadata on customer platforms
  • To report on the status of media and metadata on customer platforms
  • Creation of transcoding requests and monitoring of output.
  • Monitoring of deliverables.
  • Creation of compliance safe images for the service, where applicable..
  • Synchronization of deliverables and publishing of content on the platforms.
  • Transfer of content to customer’s platform
  • Creation and delivery of ingest reports, status reports and delivery reports for the client.

 

Qualifications

Skills Required

  • Technically minded with ability to work across several different software and channel management systems
  • Excellent spoken and written Russian and English essential
  • Ability to prioritise and problem solve and to work unsupervised on occasions
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Problem root cause analysis and problem solving skills
  • Some understanding of digital media technologies including encoding standards and tools, automated quality control tools
  • Experience in a quality assurance/quality control role
  • Experience of working within a VOD or broadcast environment
  • Experience with common office applications (such as MS Word, MS Excel) and use of line of business operational applications
  • Experience in a client facing role liaising with remote customers on the status and resolution of issues
  • Experience in proof reading textual content in a publishing or web environment advantageous
  • Knowledge of Content Management Systems

Experience Required

  • Experience in a quality assurance/quality control role
